Adele，Foo Fighters和Bruno Mars各获得六项提名，
Lil Wayne不负众望获得五项提名同时DJ Skrillex也爆冷获得了五项提名，
民谣组合Bon Iver 获得4项提名。
　　今年两位最热门的歌手：Adele和Bruno Mars，囊括了年度专辑、年度录音、年度歌曲三大奖项提名。
　　中国钢琴家王羽佳，获得本届格莱美最佳古典器乐独奏家奖提名，作品是和阿巴多合作的拉二和帕格尼尼主题狂想曲。这是王羽佳第二次获得格莱美提名。获得该奖提名的还有演奏家米切拉-佩特里Michala Petri ，她与华裔指挥家水蓝合作的中国笛子协奏曲唱片入围。
　　现年85岁的爵士传奇托尼・博内特(Tony Bennett)凭借着专辑《Duets II》成为了专辑榜冠军最高龄的登顶者，而他同已故英国女歌手艾米・怀恩豪斯(Amy Winehouse)合作的单曲《Body And Soul》入围今年最佳合作流行表演奖提名。而两位说唱界大佬坎耶・韦斯特与Jay-Z合作的专辑《Watch The Throne》则提名最佳说唱表演奖。
